Enjoy the experience
Through its mission, the Sutton School of Art fosters meaningful encounters between young people and artists. As part of its educational program, the Sutton School of Art develops creative activities led by artists recognised in their respective disciplines and supported by cultural mediation.
Our services are available to nurseries, primary and secondary schools, CÉGEPs, university groups, businesses, cultural organisations and educational partners.

LES JOURNÉES DE LA CULTURE

A welcome with refreshments and a general overview of the exhibition tour.
The activity consists of a guided tour through the site’s indoor and outdoor areas to view the various exhibitions currently on display. A fun game will be organised during the tour to sharpen the children’s powers of observation.

La Grande exposition d’automne

You are invited to a guided tour of the major exhibition *The Paper Cathedral*, conceived and created by the artist Horta Van Hoye. With her roll of paper, she will reveal its secrets and invite you to experiment and discover what lies hidden within the paper.

The Little Book Fair
DECEMBER 7-11, 2026

$15/person
A welcome reception with refreshments and a general overview of the program. Participants will be divided into three groups to take part in the three activities simultaneously. Each activity lasts 30 minutes and is led by an author, an illustrator or a special guest from the local literary scene. To round off the event, there will be a closing activity involving the whole group.

Les printemps de l’architecture

A welcome reception with refreshments and a general overview of the exhibition tour and the architectural drawing competition. Accompanied by architects, the pupils will have the opportunity to draw and design scale models of a structure to be built on the art school’s site. The morning will conclude with a group discussion on architecture.
