Cultural field trips

The Sutton School of Art (EAS) is a vibrant place where art is a form of free expression. Artistic practices are expressed on a daily basis through unique experiences and collective creations. Individual explorations in art not only enable personal growth, but also social conversations.
Each year, the Sutton School of Art welcomes nearly 1,500 children, 200 artists, and 4,000 visitors through its doors.
Live the experience

Through its mission, the Sutton School of Art promotes meaningful encounters between young people and artists. As part of its educational offering, the Sutton School of Art develops artistic creation activities led by renowned artists in their field and facilitated by cultural mediation.

SERVING CHILDREN FIRST
The Sutton Art School is a community-based art centre that welcomes and supports families year-round, a gathering place that promotes social diversity.
ENCOURAGE SHARING
Our organization brings the community together to share knowledge, spaces, tools, ideas, and resources — and to collectively build on our shared strengths.
NOURISH CREATIVITY
The Sutton School of Art provides an art education through meaningful encounters with artists and their works. The transformative power of the arts promotes innovation, self-discovery and better community living.
FOSTERING DIALOGUE
Reflection on the meaning of art and humanity is at the heart of the Sutton School of Art's programme. We invite young people to take part in conversations and reflect on solutions to the challenges of shaping our societies.
APPRECIATE CULTURAL DIVERSITY
The region's heritage is showcased through programmes in French and English. The School supports the revival of Indigenous languages and arts. Hosting foreign artistic delegations promotes cultural openness.
