She ensures a safe, caring and structured environment, complementing camp activities, while supporting the activity team and communicating with families.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job description<\/h3>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Organisation and planning<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Receiving and relaying children&#8217;s specific concerns or needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plan the day-to-day running of the childcare service (hours, routines, groups)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop a schedule tailored to the needs of camps and families<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organise calm and appropriate activities before and after camps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that the necessary equipment is available and ready for use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supervision and guidance<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Welcoming children and supervising them before and after camp activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with rules, routines and safety standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Intervening in a caring manner in situations of conflict or special need<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring children&#8217;s physical and emotional wellbeing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Team management<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Encadrer et soutenir les pr\u00e9pos\u00e9 e\u2022s au service de garde (le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Convey instructions and ensure good communication within the team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work closely with the camp coordination and facilitation team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Communication with families<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Welcoming parents and ensuring clear and respectful communication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pass on relevant information about the day&#8217;s schedule.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receiving and relaying children&#8217;s specific concerns or needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Health, safety and compliance<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Implement internal policies and emergency procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with ratios, attendance and departure authorisations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep the required records (attendance, incidents, medication, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that the areas used are kept clean and tidy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Desired profile<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Special Education Training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Activity facilitation &#8211; Creativity &#8211; Playfulness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be enthusiastic with a strong sense of responsibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Group management and supervision<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be aged between 18 and 30<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Working conditions<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Seasonal position from 22 June to 28 August 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hourly rate: $22\/hour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator alignfull has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><a href=\"mailto:rh@ecoleartsutton.ca\">Applications to rh@ecoleartsutton.ca<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator alignfull has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p> <strong><em>About the Sutton Art School and the surrounding area: <\/em><\/strong><br\/>The Sutton School of Art, housed in a heritage dairy farm surrounded by two acres of greenery along the Sutton River, offers immersive art camps every summer that promote exchanges between artists and young people aged 6 to 17.
