\n\t\t\tSummer 2026 – Les Nocturnes opens on 27 June with a Creole country fair. The programme will then feature four outdoor screenings on Thursdays 2 July, 16 July, 30 July and 13 August, as well as a closing night on Saturday 22 August. The full programme will be announced on 21 June.\t<\/h4>\n\t

This summer, the Sutton School of Art is offering an open-air cinema, creating a memorable collective experience for the region’s arts and culture enthusiasts.<\/p>\n

In a festive and friendly atmosphere, we invite lovers of the 7th art and their families to come and discover home-grown films and meet the people behind Quebec cinema.<\/p>\n

The Nocturnes of the 2025 summer season come to a memorable close. The team at the Sutton School of Art, thanks to a commission from the Town of Sutton and its partnership with the Knowlton Film Festival, is organising this event to bring the very best of cinema to its audience. A truly unforgettable final Nocturnes!<\/p>\n

6.00 pm: Refreshments and food truck <\/p>\n

7.00 pm: Charles Binam\u00e9, director, and Pascale Bussi\u00e8res, actress and co-screenwriter, will be presenting the film they co-wrote, Eldorado<\/i>.<\/p>\n

7.15 pm: Eldorado<\/i>, a film by Charles Binam\u00e9 (France, English subtitles, 1 hour 45 minutes)<\/p>\n

It’s summer, it’s hot in Montreal, and we meet people from all walks of life: Rita, the kind homeless woman who moves in with Roxanne; Henriette, who falls in love with her neighbour; Lloyd, the sex-obsessed radio presenter; a young couple, Marc and Loulou, whose relationship is in jeopardy because of Loulou’s affair with Lloyd; and many others, as the summer gets hotter and hotter…<\/p>\n

A film starring Robert Brouillette, Pascale Bussi\u00e8res, James Hyndman, Claude Lamothe, Macha Limonchik, Pascale Montpetit and Isabel Richer. <\/p>\n

9.00 pm: Pastorale<\/i>, a short film directed by Francis Leclerc and written by Antoine Corriveau (France, 17 minutes)<\/p>\n

9.30 pm: Musical performance by Antoine Corriveau. Armed with exceptional songwriting talent, Antoine Corriveau performs the tracks from his new album Oiseau de Nuit as a solo act, delivering a rich and explosive musical experience. With his sharp wit and laid-back style, he delivers his songs with intensity, blending elements of rock, folk and 90s hip hop. A gripping performance of rare intensity that is not to be missed.<\/p>\n
