\n\t\t\tCALL FOR APPLICATIONS – ARTS CAMPS 2026\t<\/h2>\n\t

Every summer, the Sutton School of Art invites artists from all disciplines to share their practice with young people aged 6 to 12 as part of the Arts Camps<\/b>. A season filled with artistic encounters and creative exploration in an inspiring rural setting.<\/p>\nWe are seeking artists who are willing to engage in a process of sharing their knowledge, techniques and passions. This process consists of individual and collective creative exercises. We invite solo artists, duos and groups to devise workshops tailored to different age groups and to contribute to the diversity of the artistic disciplines on offer.\nDuration of a camp: 1 to 2 weeks from Monday to Friday, ending with an exhibition opening on Friday.\n\nOnly selected artists will be contacted.<\/b>\n\nThe team at the Sutton School of Art strives to create a balanced programme in terms of practices and age groups.\nIt’s time to present your proposal!\nThe call for applications runs from 1 to 31 December 2025.<\/strong>\n

The Arts Camp is a time and space for artists and children to share, dedicated to artistic exploration and experimentation, a moment of mutual learning and immersion in a collective experience.<\/p>\n

Every summer, the Sutton school of art offers more than 20 art camps, welcoming over 300 children aged 6 to 17 from the Brome-Missisquoi region and elsewhere (Quebec, Canada, and other countries such as Switzerland, France, Ukraine, Kenya, the United States, etc.). The camps take place in the 20,000 sq. ft. industrial heritage architecture of La Laiterie, located on 2 acres of land along the Sutton River and within walking distance of the village.<\/p>\n

Each artist is paired for 5 days (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) with young people in a designated age group of 6-9, 9-12. He is accompanied by the organization’s administrative and technical team and by young guides.<\/p>\n

Every Friday, families and friends are invited to attend the vernissage of individual and collective creations created during the week.<\/strong><\/p>\n
